Check out our clementines!

The clementine is a citrus fruit that originated in Algeria as a cross between a mandarin orange tree and an orange tree. It first appeared in Europe in the early 20th century. It quickly became a staple in the daily lives of the French, thanks in particular to its mild, sweet flavor, which can sometimes be slightly tart. Rich in vitamins B and C and in fiber, clementines are a valuable addition to the winter diet.

There are different varieties of clementines:

  • Oronules: An early-ripening variety with thin skin. Its membranes are fairly firm, and its flesh is melt-in-your-mouth tender. It has a high juice content and a sweet flavor.
  • Clemenule: This fruit, with its dark orange skin, is easy to peel. Its high-quality flesh offers a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness.
  • Clémenvilla: A cross between a clementine and a tangelo, it has a deep orange color with reddish hues. Its flesh is juicy and has a fragrant, sweet, and tangy flavor.
